Active request

An active request is a request that is still collecting submissions and counting against the plan limit — the metric that drives RequestLoops plan tiers.

RequestLoops plans cap the number of concurrent active requests: 15 on Starter, 50 on Pro, unlimited on Business.

A request is active until the deadline passes or every required item is submitted and the request is closed. Closed requests no longer count.

Active is a useful capacity proxy because it correlates with operational load — reminders firing, submissions to review — better than total requests created.
