File validation

File validation automatically checks uploaded documents for type, size, page count, blank pages and quality before they reach the team.

Manual review wastes hours per week. File validation catches the obvious problems (blank scans, wrong file type, missing pages, unsigned forms) before a human is in the loop.

In RequestLoops, validation is configurable per item. Pro and Business plans include page count and blank-page detection. AI validation is on the roadmap for subtler checks (signed vs unsigned, correct form version).

Validation runs server-side in Rust with PDF and image processing via Ghostscript and MuPDF tools.
